Fashion Tips for Height illusion

Not every girl is tall and nor she can wear heels every day to add a few centimeters to her height. However, the average height of women nowadays is anywhere from 5’1” to 5’4”. If you also fall into this category, then here are a few fashion tips that you can try to add an illusion of increased height.

Heels
While heels maybe your best friend to make you look tall, don’t make the mistake of wearing one with ankle straps. The straps tend to cut off your height even more than it adds to it. It gets even worse if the straps are thick. Instead, wear heels that either have sleek straps or don’t have any.

Tops
Whether you wear shirts or tops, make sure that they don’t extend beyond your hipbone. The reason behind this is that a long top may give an illusion of disproportionate figure, with torso being long.

Bottoms
If you like wearing skirts, then wear A-line skirts (not long skirts) says it will give an illusion of elongated height. On the contrary tight fitted skirts may make your legs appear shorter. For pants or trousers, opt for skinny and straight fit that is hemmed above your ankle.
